Mental Health Help is a Phone Call Away

If you are suffering and need help - you are not alone. Our team of mental health care professionals is only a phone call away! At Connected Roots in Boulder, Colorado, you are invited to be your authentic self, and our space is safe and open to all.

Medicaid Accessibility

Don’t let concerns over mental health care costs stand in your way. Our team is committed to ensuring you receive the help you need. We accept Medicaid, Anthem, and United Health insurance plans for individual and group therapy.

Health First Colorado, Colorado’s Medicaid program, provides free mental health services to its members. Even if you are in a different Medicaid region, our intake coordinator will help you revise your plan so you can work with us. And if Medicaid is ultimately not an option, we also offer sliding scale fees if you are paying out of pocket.

Our Team

At Connected Roots, we recognize that everyone has a unique story. To help you identify yours, our team will customize your therapy plan to empower you to achieve your goals.

We believe in accessibility, empathy, and compassion. Humor and lightheartedness are equally important and are embedded within our practice to encourage human connection.

Our diverse training and experience allow us to draw from a wide range of unique, flexible, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a powerful tool for decreasing feelings of isolation that many people experience when they’re struggling. Especially for those with interpersonal difficulties, group therapy provides a safe space to practice coping skills.

One of the best things about group therapy is that by hearing from others with similar feelings, struggles, and challenges - you realize that you are not alone in your suffering.

Group therapy provides a safe space for discovering new ideas, strategies, and acquaintances that can heal your personal struggles.

Group therapy is also covered under most insurance policies and Medicaid plans.

Roots

In the same way that a tree is anchored and connected to the earth through its root system, we cannot grow without a deep connection to our own roots. Our roots keep us grounded in our lives and our sense of self.

We will help you rediscover the support systems in your life, such as your family, friends, nature, core values, goals, belief systems, and more. By using engaging techniques, we will help you identify the roots that connect you to what matters most.

Tuning in to your emotions, becoming more introspective, and making choices that are in line with your value system are crucial steps towards wholeness and self-acceptance.

Together, we will explore your abilities, skills, and capacity to take healthy risks to achieve your goals. We will empower you with tangible skills to help boost your confidence and better cope with the stress of everyday life.

What To Know

The most important thing to know is that you are not alone, and that your struggles are shared. Our team is just a phone call away and will help you find the care you need.
