Inner Child Connection Group
Relational Healing & Self-Compassion Practices
Service Description
Facilitated by Morgan Slagell, you and a small group of individuals will have the opportunity to explore your relationship with your younger self in a supportive and confidential setting. The goal of this group is to create space for you to process experiences with others, while practicing self-compassion and building tools to nurture your inner child. The group is open to adults of any age, and will take place on Sunday afternoons. This group will have two parts. It will begin with a process portion, where you and your fellow group members can share current struggles and insights — whether related to family dynamics, people-pleasing, anxiety, or other challenges. You will receive support and encouragement from others who are also working toward deeper self-understanding. The second part will be guided by the therapist, where a theme that emerged in discussion will be explored further. Prompts and practices during this time may include guided imagery, reflective journaling, or self-compassion exercises, drawing from relational therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and inner child work. *Currently accepting, Anthem, Medicaid, United Healthcare, and self-paying clients. The self-pay fee is $50. We offer sliding scale fees based on need. Please contact Connected Roots for details.
